Becoming a pediatrician fulfilled a childhood dream, and after four decades, my passion is as strong as ever. I genuinely look forward to each day in the office caring for our patients. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of not only treating patients but also their children, my ‘grand-patients.’ Witnessing their growth and thriving has been the most rewarding part of my career. Each child I’ve cared for holds a special place in my heart, and I’m grateful for the chance to make a positive difference in their lives.
Working in pediatrics is extremely rewarding in that we get a chance to watch kids thrive. There’s not much better than hearing some great jokes or getting a big hug from your patients before they leave.
I find that children are a joy to work with. They are bright, honest and full of life and they rarely have chronic medical issues.
I feel honored every day to be trusted by parents to care for their children. I am lucky to have the opportunity to make a small difference in the life of a child and their family.
