🎉 Dr. Karen Thrower Is Retiring 🎉

After nearly 14 amazing years with our practice, Dr. Thrower will be retiring in May 2026. While we are so excited for her as she begins this new chapter, our hearts are a little heavy as we prepare to say goodbye to a physician who has meant so much to East Cobb families.

Dr. Thrower has been a valued member of East Cobb Pediatrics since May 2012, caring for thousands of children with warmth, wisdom, and endless dedication. She has celebrated first steps and well visits, helped little ones feel better on sick days, and partnered with parents through every stage in between. Her kindness and steady presence have made a lasting mark on our office, our staff, and the community we serve.

Please join us in congratulating her on a well-deserved retirement and in thanking her for the years of compassionate care. She will be deeply missed, truly irreplaceable, and forever a part of the East Cobb Pediatrics family. We know her patients, colleagues, and friends will feel the same—she will be missed more than words can say 💙.

It will be so sad for East Cobb Pediatrics when Karen Thrower leaves… She is one of the smartest, most considerate, honorable and giving doctors that I have ever worked with! It will be a true loss to our practice when she leaves, and I know that there will be many many many patients that will truly miss her! Good luck, Dr. Thrower!
