Virtual Visit FAQ’s

East Cobb Pediatrics is now offering virtual visits. Here are some frequently asked questions you may have. If you have any further questions, please call our office.

    • Will my insurance pay for the visit?
Most insurances are allowing virtual visits for the next several weeks. We will contact your insurance company for you to ask about telemedicine benefits. However, we have no control over how your insurance processes your telehealth claim. If a claim is denied, the policy owner may need to pay for the visit out of pocket.
    • Will I have to pay a copayment or deductible for a virtual visit?
Although some plans will waive copayments, others will still require them. We will submit your claim to your insurance company and send you a statement for any patient responsibility.

To get information specific to your insurance plan, please call the customer service number listed on your insurance card And be well!
