Tracy Barr, M.D.
Dr. Barr graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biology. Her desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives in combination with her affinity towards children led her decision to become a pediatrician. She received her M.D. in 2003 from Emory University and completed her Residency at the University of Alabama, where she won the Argus Award for “Best Pediatric Resident”. Before joining the staff of East Cobb Pediatrics, she worked at Alpharetta Pediatrics and served as a Hospitalist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Dr. Barr is well known for her exceptional listening and educating skills, both of which she finds essential in maintaining the well-being of patients. To ensure the best treatment, she takes great care in making sure that patients’ histories and physicals are thoroughly done. In addition, she exhibits careful patience and skillfully puts her patients at ease. She and her husband, Tucker, have three children
