Sharon Lebedin, RN, MSN, CPNP, CFNP
Sharon is one of our most experienced nurse practitioners, having worked in pediatrics for over 30 years. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 1978. She then joined the staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Egleston. After working there for ten years, she switched to practicing as a home infusion nurse. Four years later, she returned to hospital service, this time in an emergency room at Kennestone Hospital. Wanting to further extend her knowledge, she attended Kennesaw State University and earned a Master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing. As a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she joined East Cobb Pediatrics in 2001.
Because of their lovable manner and fresh views on life, children capture Sharon’s interest. She believes that through helping children develop a good sense of self-worth, they learn to lead healthier lifestyles. Creating such an impact on children is what motivates and fulfills Sharon. Her patient, loving and sweet personality attracts both parent and child alike. Passionate as she is, she is genuinely concerned about each of her patients’ well-being. Having a large family herself, she understands parents’ concern over their children and places high priority on educating them. Sharon and her husband, Kenny, have six children and three grand-children. They live in the East-Cobb area.
