COVID-19 & Appointments With Our Office
Virtual Visits
Sick Appointments
If you would like to make a sick appointment, please call as early as possible for a same day appointment. Our staff is available to take your calls beginning at 8:00am Monday through Friday.
Well Visits
Please schedule annual/well appointments two months in advance. Summer is a busy time for school and college age kids, so calling in advance allows more choices in scheduling. If you prefer a certain provider the sooner you can schedule the better. We try to keep the schedule available 3 months in advance.
Newborn Services
Generally we would ask that you schedule and bring your baby in for the first appointment within the first week after being born, sooner if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
Barbara Cossman, RN, MN, IBCLC, PNP is our Lactation Consultant/Newborn Specialist for both offices. She is available to see newborns for their first office visit. For more information please see our Newborn section.
Parent Consultation
If you feel your child is having complex behavior or health problems that you would like to discuss with the provider, without your child present, please call to schedule a parent consultation appointment. These appointments are available at varying times depending on provider.
Missed Appointments
East Cobb Pediatrics requires a 24 hour cancellation notice or a missed appointment fee may be charged. Our schedulers makes every effort to schedule your child at your convenience. We ask that if you must cancel an appointment that you call no less than 24 hours before your appointment to let us know. Failure to cancel or to keep an appointment will result in a $50 charge. Please remember that an appointment that you cannot keep might be used for another child who is in need of treatment.
