Salathiel Kendrick, M.D.
Dr. Kendrick received her Medical Degree from University of Miami School of Medicine in 2000, where she attended on full academic scholarship, after earning a BS degree in Biochemistry from Spelman College as a NASA Research Scholar.
After graduating with her MD she completed internship and residency in Pediatrics, as well as fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital Center.
Dr. Kendrick then relocated to Atlanta to serve on faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics as an Instructor of Clinical Pediatrics then as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. Before joining East Cobb Pediatrics in 2008 she cared for patients at Morehouse Medical Associates Division of Pediatrics, DeKalb Medical Center Newborn Nursery, and Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital now Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes.
She is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kendrick’s areas of special clinical interest include childhood obesity and patient education. She enjoys traveling, reading, yoga and spending time with her family and friends. She lives in South Cobb with her husband Steven and her two young daughters Assata Ire and Asantewaa Isoke.
