Marisa R. Gadea, M.D.
Marisa is a native of Cordoba, Argentina. She received her MD in 1984 from the National University of Cordoba. She completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatology at Children’s Hospital. University of Cordoba. In the United States, she completed a residency in pediatrics and one year as Chief Resident at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. She was selected for Alpha Omega Alpha. Marisa received her Board Certification in Pediatrics in 1995 and recertification in 2002 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Marisa worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as staff pediatrician for one year before joining East Cobb Pediatrics in 1997. Marisa, Yassine, her husband, and their children, Sammy and Sophia, live in the East Cobb area.
